Dearly Beloved in the Lord,

 

It is with great joy we announce that on Tuesday, 15 September 2020, feast day of the Great Martyr Nikitas, His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain will celebrate His name day.

You are kindly requested to inform the devout members of your Community according to the attached programme, which we suggest you upload on the website of your Community and post it on the bulletin board of the Church.

            

The reverend Priests and Deacons, who would like to participate in the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of Divine Wisdom, Bayswater, are kindly requested to confirm their participation via email on archthyateira@gmail.com no later than Friday, 11 September 2020.

St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church is open for services (normal times)

but we kindly ask the faithful to follow the guidelines below:

 

  • Social distancing between households must be maintained at all times while walking, standing and sitting.

 

  • Pews have been taped off to maintain social distancing; only sit where there is no tape.

 

  • Hand sanitisers are available at the entrance to the church; feel free to use them.

 

  • Face masks are now obligatory; please bring one with you.

For Memorial Services and Artoklasies, the faithful are kindly asked to bring their own Kolliva and Artous along with the names on a piece of paper. 

Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals are allowed but only with a maximum of 30 people.

Located near the bustling and multicultural district of Shepherds Bush in West London and within walking distance of Westfield Shopping Centre, St Nicholas is proud to be offering a place of worship for Orthodox Christians for over 50 years. 
As a long-standing Greek Orthodox Cathedral we welcome all Orthodox Christians whether Greek or non-Greek.
 
 Sunday Liturgies are at 9.15am-12.30pm and we offer Holy Sacraments such as Baptisms and Marriages
